Last night during class, I made this study from life in about 30 minutes. I made it to help my students understand massing in with large tones and controling edges. 12" x16"

I was talking to a friend about this painting the other day, So I thought to post it.  I painted it from life in the studio of my long time friend and fellow Artist Mikel Glass. It took about 10 to 12 hours, the models posed one at a time.  22" x 28"  2006.  This painting flowed well off my brush.
